How to choose a crypto price tracker
A crypto price tracker shows the current price, market capitalisation and price history of cryptocurrencies. Many are free to use, so the differences lie in the data they show and in how easy they are to read.
- Coverage. Check that the site lists the coins and markets you follow, including smaller tokens.
- Data and updates. Look at where prices come from, how often they refresh and whether the method is explained.
- Features. Charts, price alerts and portfolio tracking matter more than the number of widgets.
- Readability. A clear page with few intrusive ads is easier to use than a crowded one.
- Perspective. A tracker shows market data, not advice. Compare prices on a live exchange before you trade.
